We caught up with Larsson a few days ago to ask ask him a couple of question about his life and his career. Having started producing electronic music in 2005, he went on to say
“a lot has changed since then, mostly the experience of mixing has evolved.”
Larsson has released on recognised and respected labels such as Bpitch, Get Physical, M-nus and Rotary Cocktail. With his energetic sets, often weaving between minimal house and techno, he has rocked the floors of Berlin’s Watergate, Panorama Bar, and Bar25.
We asked what’s coming in the near future.
“There are a few remixes coming up and a compilation of tracks to follow as a few EP´s are in production.” – he said.
Last question, of course was: Tell us about your first impression when you came across Steyoyoke.
“It´s a cool label with a love for vinyl and artwork shown by young talented artists!!”
Steyoyoke has joined forces with Get Physical Dj, ‘Larsson’ to present yet another fine podcast in its already impressive collection of unique and diverse mixes. This deep foot-stomping mix is one final fling in the sun before we brace ourselves for the winter months to come. With remixes from the likes of Ben Klock and Daniel Dexter, Larsson’s blend of dark and mysterious tech-house takes us by the hand and shows us that we have nothing to fear.
